great as a single female...

Liked: safe and clean great staff
Disliked: perhaps a bit noisy

Delighted with how clean it...

Liked: It was clean and right next to a central enough tube station. There were lots of overflow toiletries which was great as I forgot something.
Disliked: My bed had a dip in it. I mentioned this to the staff, there was nothing done about it. My back was in pain for days after the sleeping in the bed.The room in the basement had a double door which was left open at night, anyone could enter the room via the communal area upstairs. After entering the communal area at around 11pm I sat down on the sofa, the double doors were left wide open and a fox decided to walk in. I dread to think what would happen if the fox walked into the bedroom.Someone had already decided my designated bed was theirs, this possibly could have been avoided if it were properly explained at check in. There was a sign but it could be easily missed.

Liked: Great location, self-check-in went smoothly, dorm room was spacious enough for everyone, room was cool and well ventilated
Disliked: Just two bathrooms for 10 people can be an issue.

Disliked: it could ba a bit more clean, a bit less spiderwebs would be appreciated

Disliked: It wasn’t the cleanest (the bathroom and the pillow case were not the best)

Okay for one night, was...

Liked: I liked that it wasn't a long walk from the venue I was at that evening (Electric Ballroom), I liked the cleanliness of the bathrooms.
Disliked: I didn't like mostly that I asked for a bottom bunk bed but was given a top bunk, it made me feel uncomfortable, most of the girls in the room looked like they lived there which wasn't a problem but no one spoke at all not even to say hello, all lights were on bright as i walked in at 10.30pm just gone. Was fine i put my ear plugs in eye patch on and just went to sleep, woke up in the night needing the loo but didn't want to climb down from top bunk so just held on until about 5.30 and got up...shower was nice, got myself ready and left...it was only a bed for the night and it served that purpose but think I prefer somewhere with a reception and having my requests met.

I would gladly stay at...

Liked: 1. Excellent location - about 40 minutes train ride from Heathrow Airport, a few steps away from Mornington Crescent Station, major sites e.g. Buckingham Palace are easily accessible by train, lots of shops (e.g Marks and Spencer) and restaurants are within walking distance. 2. Room and bathrooms were kept spotlessly clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. 3. The lounge area is lovely and free tea is available in the lounge, which was welcomed. 4. My roommates were amazing, so respectful and keen to help. A special thank you to Saanika, Caroline, Anna and Julie. 5. The staff, when approached were very helpful. Even the owner, Mark was very kind when I requested a late checkout as my flight was only at 10pm.
Disliked: 1. Uncertainty regarding the safety of my luggage. Small lockers were available for storing valuables but the bulk of ones luggage had to be stored in an unlocked communal cupboard. Bigger lockers would be helpful. 2. There were times when there were no staff onsite and some guests who arrived looked quite lost. 3. The downside of the close proximity to Mornington Crescent Station is that the trains could be heard and felt. This is beyond the control of the hostel management. Earplugs helped a lot to cope with the train noise.
