Not great

Liked: Staff were nice
Disliked: No working air conditioning in the entire hotel, sitting in 33 degrees and the windows couldn’t stay open. Had to ask reception if there was an alternative and was told there might be a fan spare. Room cleaning propped the window open with a glass bottle. Wi-Fi was very weak and kept disconnecting. The way to get to the part of the hotel where my room was located was accessed by the back door/ a fire exit which made the experience not exactly 5 star. The curtains don’t fully cover the window, which made getting to sleep difficult as all the hotel lights were shining through the gap at the bottom. The bed was also about 3 feet off the floor, so if you have any disabilities it makes it difficult. Room wasn’t sound proof as we could hear the venue that was booked out for a few hours in the courtyard.

Disliked: processes not aligned, departments not working together a sked for early check in , kept promising at reception but took 3 hours waiting in reception , promised tea never arrived , forgot our name , had to keep chasing , poky room with uncomfortable old bed , no robes or toiletries ,, shower not working noisy with workmen from 7.30am , coffee machine not working at breakfast

Liked: Interesting building and location, comfortable room, very friendly and helpful staff.

Simply lovely

Liked: Stayed for 1 night so wasn’t there for long, but the breakfast was good, and bed was comfortable
Disliked: Had hoped for larger bed instead of a single, for 1 night it wasn’t a problem.

Exceptional

Liked: The staff were excellent. They allowed us early check in and late check out. There was free waters and juice available. The breakfast was great, but the coffee machine was broken
Disliked: The aircon wasn't working, but they changed our rooms. The coffee machine at breakfast wasn't working

Liked: Lobby was nice, good location
Disliked: Bed was really uncomfortable, the aircon was awful, the room looked nothing like the photographs, it was really dark with a tiny box window.

Liked: The room was nice. Some staff were lovely. It is like a maze trying to out. Building is historical. Looked after bags without charge.
Disliked: Location was very dead. Nothing nearby. Nothing happening at the hotel yet it’s summer in London. Nothing seemed urgent.
