Very good

Liked: Breakfast was amazing and the room was lovely and comfortableThe staff were very polite and went above and beyond for us
Disliked: My only issue with out stay was we had requested an early check and on arrival we were told the room would be ready for 12 o'clock, when we arrived back at 12 the room was not preparedI understand official check in is not till 3 but if we had been informed on arrival this would be the case we could have made arrangements to stay out for the day rather than coming back to find this out

Generally very good....Ideal location. ...Friendly...

Liked: Very welcoming and comfortable all round.
Disliked: No view from window.No need for large internal viewing window in bathroom.

Unforgettable in every positive sense.

Liked: The breakfast was amazing, and the hospitality from the staff was great. The welcome drink and cookies were out of this world. Thoroughly enjoyed my 7 day stay. Will definitely go there again

Disappointed

Liked: The staff were excellent, most attentive.
Disliked: The building is tired and shabby in places. Specifically the King club room initially allocated which was street facing had a faulty window that couldn't be fully closed therefore was noisy and drafty. The WiFi didn't work and an internal phone didn't either. Staff called maintenance in who were unable to resolve these things. I was offered another room which was smaller and fairly standard, which I accepted but overall was not at all what I'd expected.I could have obtained the same standard accommodation from a standard hotel elsewhere for half the price charged here... (next time).In my experience this was 5 stars in name only.
