Passable
Liked: The location of the hotel was inconvenient not much parking, it first come first serve type basis, there is valet parking. The AC on the room wasn’t working communicating with the office multiple time, provide a box fan.

Air conditioning was broken. Terrible...
Liked: The location was great.
Disliked: The air conditioning was broken in several rooms. They would not give us a discount or refund because we booked through a 3rd party. The staff also refused to move us to another room.

Repulsive smell and two important...
Liked: Nothing.
Disliked: The bathroom and sink had a hideous smell, like an open sewer. It was hard to be in there without gagging. Some of the smell was coming to where the bed was. The fridge didn’t work at all which was a bummer. The deadbolt also didn’t work which was extremely unnerving. I asked for late checkout and all they could do was add an extra hour to my checkout time. I’m very disappointed, I’ve always loved this hotel but I won’t be staying here again. This is a Hilton property and I expected better. It’s expensive ($250) and wasn’t worth it. While laying in the hotel bed I also killed two insects and there were more flying around. From now on when I travel, I’ll stay in a cheap motel, because at least their fridges work and they’re easier on my wallet.

Great stay!
Liked: The decor and overall vibe of the hotel was very nice. It was in a great location. It was more reasonable than hotels not as nice.
Disliked: Nothing.

Overpriced and underserved
Liked: The hotel is close to lots of bars, eateries and the water. It was easy to find and had street parking. The staff was very friendly except the male bartender.
Disliked: The thermostat on the wall did not work during my stay. I would turn it off because it was way too cold in the room and it would still keep blowing cold air. I called at least 5 times regarding temperature of either too hot or too cold. Quite unpleasant. The bartender attempted to sell me a $27 shot of bourbon despite the not being an expensive bottle (usd $27.99) and when I called him out on it he blamed it on the area. The drink I did buy was not that good and when I told him about it he just ignored me. There were stains on our sheets. There is no concierge, microwave or bell hop. Parking is around $30/night. The hotel is run on a skeleton crew...just too few staff wearing different hats. For $300/night, I would not recommend. You just don't get your money's worth.

Convenient location, nice hotel with...
Liked: Close proximity to Ocean Beach and several restaurants walking distance.
Disliked: Street parking was very limited. An option of $37 was offered with valet parking only in the garage. The staff (receptionist) seemed very unhappy about her job. I was trying to ask questions and she kept having attitude (I was not the only one who noticed). Very strict on only checking in at 4pm exact.
