Lovely night away

Liked: Gorgeous food, breakfast was amazing and dinner too, not overly expensive either. Really gorgeous room and pub, great value for a night away
Disliked: Nothing really

Would stay again, lovely staff...

Liked: Free upgrade was a pleasant surprise, the staff were all lovely and friendly and helpful. Service was efficient and well managed .The food was very nice and we enjoyed a really nice roast dinner on Sunday. Appreciated the little home made biscuits
Disliked: Everything was very good, the only slight down side was the peeling paint i the bathroom window, and there was slightly fusty smell.

Very happy. Would stay again.

Disliked: The rooms feel a little worn. Time for some new paint.

Wonderful location, cosy accommodation, superb...

Liked: We stayed as a large group attending a wedding locally. The staff could not do enough for us, so friendly and helpful, and accommodated any dietary requests and room switches. We all had a meal together and everyone found their food excellent and generous portions. The chairman’s suite was cosy and comfortable, the room was immaculately clean with facilities to iron, and a fan available. Water and freshly baked biscuits were provided.

Liked: Convenience. Family live in the village.Staff were brilliant. And genuine.
Disliked: In the attempt to give the smallish room character, it was overfull. Cluttered.Toilet seat very loose almost to the point of not being attached to wc.No shower .mat in the bath therefore having a shower was a potentially hazardous activity.
