Comfortable budget hotel which is very handy for Old Fruitmarket and City Hall. Would certainly use it again.
Liked: Room was exactly as advertised and, in spite of city centre location, double glazing meant it was quiet.

Lovely listed building; no frills room but lived up to expectations. Would be more than happy to book again.
Liked: Clean, comfortable, friendly.
Disliked: Room very gloomy; one bulb out and others very dull.

Lovely wee hotel with very friendly staff and great breakfast! Nice clean rooms and very sufficient for our one night stay to go to Barrowlands.
Liked: Very nice wee hotel.

Excellent hotel: highly recommended. But...
Liked: Very good breakfast, very clean room, very helpful staff. Very good value.
Disliked: This is an excellent hotel: very close to the Argyle Street station. The hotel doesn't have a lift so a hike upstairs and down the basement dining room are necessary.Additionally, the doors into the reception corridor and office are a bit of a challenge.I thoroughly recommend this hotel.I do, however, criticise the Glasgow authorities for making the public transport system pretty well invisible to visitors: no maps on bus shelters, subway only starts at 10am on Sundays, etc.
