Liked: The location to Kings Cross
Disliked: The thin narrow stair case was hard to navigate with 2 large heavy suitcases. I think the access to rooms should be mentioned in the information

Liked: The staff was friendly, was decorated lovely. Location was great, and close to the tube and train station.
Disliked: Needs a little bit of love, and a good clean. It was really dusty and needed a few bulbs changing.

Really lovely hotel.

Liked: It was so close to the stations to get about.
Disliked: The rooms were so small. We visited on a very hot weekend and the rooms were absolutely roasting. The fan we got wasn’t working properly. We had to ask for towels and the ironing board and iron was located in the basement.

Not worth it

Liked: Location
Disliked: Room was so small I could barely move around. No towels. Room was damp, sheets were damp, toilet paper was damp. This was an added on room in the back garden. There may be nice rooms here but this one was a ripoff.

Suited our needs for a...

Liked: Proximity to St Pancras (only 4 min walk) made it a perfect location for catching an early morning Eurostar train. Key code system allows flexibility to arrive late or depart early without fuss.
Disliked: Very small room, exceptionally hot even with the portable fan working all night and an open window.

Very disappointing - nothing like...

Liked: The location is good. It is very close to Kings Cross station
Disliked: The room we received was nothing like the ones shown when making the booking. The room was tiny and did not have a proper bed in it. The bed was a portable wire frame with a lumpy mattress on top. The frame was smaller than the mattress leaving the mattress not fully supported.The room also had a sofa bed in it and for some reason this had also been made into a bed - I'd booked a double room for 2 people. There was no need for a second bed to be made and this took up what precious little room was available. It was unnecessarily difficult to access the bathroom as a result of there being little space to navigate round the beds.The room was uncomfortably hot so the window needed to be opened. There were no security measures fitted on the window and it was at ground level which meant we felt very vulnerable through the night. Anyone could easily have fully opened the window from the outside and let themselves in. It also meant that we got a lot of noise from the busy street outside of the hotel. We could hear every conversation from pedestrians passing by.
