Perfect location, great value and...

Liked: The room was clean and comfortable. The staff were accommodating and the breakfast was really good.
Disliked: The location was fantastic. A short walk to Waterloo station and you have access to anywhere you want to go to. The price was reasonable for the location. We would definitely visit again.

Liked: Great location- very walkable. Staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. Pub served a good breakfast. We also had dinner there and food was delicious.

Friendly, welcoming pub

Liked: Reception! Cheerful, helpful, informal. Southbank complex within a short walk and The Globe and Tate Modern a short walk in the other direction. The pub downstairs looked welcoming, clean and quirky (Tenniel's 'Alice' drawings on the walls and windows alongside a phone charger bank!) and the room was immaculately cleaned every day.
Disliked: It was noisy outside all day and night... but hey, it's in central London. I doubt you'd find a place to stay in London without 24 hour noise.

Liked: There was something in the Avocado Toast that made me unwell. It seemed that the Avocado was mixed with something. The location was great.
Disliked: Our room was a bit too shabby. Would not stay there in heat because it was already extremely hot while there.

Disappointing - 2 out of 5

Great location, helpful staff, poor...

Liked: Staff were welcoming, knowledgable and friendly.
Disliked: The room was absolutely boiling. A Dyson fan of that size is not a suitable fan to provide comfort for guests staying during high temperatures, as it doesn’t reach above the bed, and if placed on a raised surface, it vibrates at a loud volume. There was also no sheet on the bed as an alternative to a duvet. Because of this, I had about 2 hours of sleep.
