As I said good position...

Liked: The position is perfect.
Disliked: Our room was very hot it did not have AC so had to have the windows open all night. Consequently we had the smell of cooking all the evening, the extractor fan in the bathroom did not work so the steam was unbearable I reported it but nothing was done. I could go on but you get the message.

Liked: Its location and the unique historical building that blends in with (and complements) the rest of the town. The staff were ever so friendly and the food divine. Staying at the Lygon gave us a great taste of the unique hospitality of the area.
Disliked: The room facility such as hair dryer was faulty - sparked with burning smell .. the room switches accessibility needed to be upgraded for ease of access.

Liked: Clean and nice swimming pool
Disliked: I had 2 items of clothing stolen from the room

An absolutely amazing place, well...

Liked: Just an absolutely fantastic place, and I loved the pillows and beds
Disliked: Was hard to find the rooms :)

Terrible bar management

Liked: The building is beautiful, the restaurant was good
Disliked: Bar staff, no fridge in room. Room was very hot. Definitely not a top hotel

Very enjoyable weekend in a...

Liked: Great location , very traditional building .Comfortable beds and great food .
Disliked: Was very hard to get a drink when you wasn’t allowed to go to the bar so you had to rely on someone seeing you all the time . Which depending on where your sitting was very slow at times .The grill was outstanding food . But for how much our bill was , would have expected someone to top up your wine while you’re eating .
