Liked: Darren and Angie are very welcoming and accommodating hosts who make guests feel thoroughly at home.The Lord Nelson is great village local, with bedrooms next door, and surrounded by excellent walking countryside.We enjoyed a very good dinner there and a delicious 'full English' breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing.

Overall a great stay and...

Liked: We have stayed here before and as always we had a lovely friendly welcome. WE had out evening meal on the Friday night which was delicious and great value for money. Good selection of beers, and gins.
Disliked: The only thing we didn't like really was the very early breakfast. 8:30 is early for a Saturday and Sunday morning, however we did understand that they were extra busy with lunch time meals due to it being mothers day, and therefore they needed to free up the kitchen.

Liked: Had a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening, the pub itself has a great atmosphere and the inclusive breakfast was wonderful.Tea and coffee making facilities were also in the room . Everything you need for an enjoyable overnight stay.

Great Place to Stay

Liked: Great host and good food served at the pub. The room was comfortable and clean and in an excellent location to explore the local area.
