The Spotlight on The Line Hotel

Mid-Century Cool Meets Music-Lover Convenience

Modern, artistic, and right in the heart of Koreatown, The LINE Hotel is a vibrant base for concert-goers exploring Los Angeles. Housed in a sleek mid-century building, it’s just under 4 miles from Hollywood and major event venues, with a design-forward vibe, rooftop pool, and floor-to-ceiling views of the LA skyline.

Why Concert-goers love it

Music fans love the central location—you’re a short rideshare or Metro trip to major venues like the Staples Center and Hollywood Bowl. The 12:00 PM checkout gives you extra time to recover after a late night, and free Saturday yoga classes are a surprising perk for the morning after. The hotel is surrounded by late-night food spots and cool bars, so the night doesn’t have to end when the show does.

Who this Hotel is great for

- Groups of friends looking for a stylish crash pad
- Solo travelers catching a dream show
- Couples making a weekend of it
- Fans needing a peaceful post-show zone with great views
- Budget-conscious music lovers wanting quality and location

Food and Drink Options

The LINE doesn’t skimp when it comes to food. The rooftop Openaire Restaurant serves up shareable dishes made with seasonal ingredients, perfect for post-show bites or brunch the next day. There are three on-site restaurants, a mini-bar stocked with Korean and American snacks, and tons of walkable dining options in Koreatown. Late night hunger? You're covered.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself is more of a chill zone, you’re surrounded by Koreatown’s eclectic nightlife. From karaoke bars and speakeasies to rooftop lounges, your night out can easily extend after the encore. Back at the hotel, the vibe is relaxed—perfect for winding down with a drink and city views.

What People Say

Guests rave about the unique style, friendly staff, and awesome location close to public transit and LA’s top attractions. The views from the rooms and rooftop are a frequent highlight, and many love the buzzy yet laid-back Koreatown setting.

Areas for Improvement

Some guests mention that rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy—nothing a white noise app can’t fix. Parking is valet-only and can add up, so rideshares or Metro might be a smarter bet for concert-goers.

The Bottom Line

With its unbeatable location, late-night access, and rooftop vibes, The LINE Hotel is a perfect Koreatown launchpad for your next LA concert night.

Conrad, Rancho Santa Margarita, visiting The Wiltern

Room was very small, not worth the money. Parking way too expensive. Nice location.

Liked: The staff was real friendly.
Disliked: Downstairs turned into a nightclub - very loud.

Scam hidden fees and overcharge...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: Attitude from the workers, hidden fees. After I paid nothing was mentioned before hand that breakfast wasn’t included when it was stated that breakfast and” on site parking” was included don’t give me the valet only bs. It was also mentioned “parking, on site parking, valet parking, private parking, accessible “ before I pay. After I paid they told me that I have to pay an additional 50$ something dollars before tax for parking. And the breakfast wasn’t included when it was mentioned that it was! And not to mention the mini bar was already stated that it was included I only took a coffee and 2 waters and they charged me around 40$ for them. Im telling you the whole thing is being advertised as if everything is included in the price when it is not they make up their own bs rules and make up hidden fees they’re money hungry dogs.

Superb

Liked: The amenities were A1 (except for the gym). Alfred and onsite restaurant are clutch. & the view (chef's kiss).
Disliked: very small and limited gym which was surprising based on other available amenities. They had these weird niche cable machines. Honestly they could get rid of the machines, and just add one more bench, dumbells and a barbell :-)

the LINE HOTEL, Koreatown L.A....

Liked: Love that it is accessible, close to most places I needed to go. Room is clean, and view of mountains from afar brings out the picturesque charm of Los Angeles. Lobby traffic is really busy especially on the weekends. Liked lounging by the pool- it is very relaxing and in close proximity to their restaurant. Not working well- the electrical control for the privacy shades - you have to play with it to get it to work!
Disliked: The electrical shade buttons.

Unforgettable trip

Liked: Amazing experience! Amazing staff ! From the receptionist to the house keepers, engineers, chefs everyone was great I forgot to get my housekeeper name but she was the sweetest I’ll be back forsure.
Disliked: The deposit fee is $150 each night which is really expensive on top of the room and pool closes a tad bit early other than that 10/10

Central Ktown location, No pet...

Liked: Great location if you want to visit Ktown. Our friends live nearby and we were able meet up and walk to dinner (lots of restaurants and shopping nearby). I also very much appreciated that they are dog friendly and DO NOT charge a pet fee. 9th floor mountain view room (927) had a beautiful view of the Hollywood hills, Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood sign. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: While still very comfortable and clean, the hotel has clearly seen better days (worn furniture, stained carpets, dated fixtures). I booked last minute and got a good deal, but would not have been very happy if I had paid full price. $60 daily valet parking fee was steep, but we were just staying 1 night so opted for the convenience. Ktown is not the cleanest neighborhood in LA so just keep that in mind when visiting the area.
