The Spotlight on The Leonard Hotel / Apartments

Elegant Comfort Steps from London's Music Scene

The Leonard Hotel / Apartments blends classic English charm with a central London location, offering concert-goers a refined stay just a short walk from some of the city's top music venues. Located just 3 minutes from Oxford Street, Hyde Park, and Marble Arch Tube Station, this 4-star hotel is all about timeless elegance, with richly decorated rooms, traditional English cuisine, and a warm, welcoming vibe.

Why Concert-goers love it

With its unbeatable location near the West End, The Leonard gives you easy access to venues across central London—many within walking distance or a quick Tube ride away. After the show, return to a peaceful, classic setting where you can truly unwind. Late-night transport is a breeze thanks to nearby Marble Arch Station, and the 12:00 PM check-out gives you time to recharge after a late night.

Who this Hotel is great for

Groups of friends looking for a stylish base close to nightlife
Solo travelers ticking off bucket-list concerts
Couples enjoying a romantic music-filled weekend
Fans who want a quiet, elegant space to recover post-show
Budget-conscious music fans who don't want to compromise on location or class

Food and Drink Options

Seymour’s Restaurant serves up traditional English cuisine in a cozy room with open fireplaces and classic paintings. You can enjoy a full English breakfast even after a late night, either in the restaurant or from the comfort of your room. Afternoon tea is available on request for a quintessentially British treat. While there’s no 24/7 dining, the surrounding area offers plenty of walkable cafes and eateries.

Nightlife Options

You’re a short walk from the West End’s bars, pubs, and lounges—perfect for pre- or post-concert drinks. While the hotel itself doesn’t offer live music or a bar, the nearby nightlife more than makes up for it. Think cozy cocktail spots, lively pubs, and upscale lounges all within easy reach.

What People Say

Guests love the classic décor, spacious rooms, and friendly service. The location is often praised as ideal for exploring central London and catching shows. Many highlight the quiet atmosphere despite being so close to the action. Reviewers also appreciate the personal touches, like bathrobes, slippers, and complimentary tea and coffee.

Areas for Improvement

While charming, some parts of the hotel might feel a bit old-fashioned for those seeking a modern vibe. There’s no on-site bar or 24-hour restaurant, and the lack of an elevator in some areas may be a challenge for those with mobility issues.

The Bottom Line

A classic and quiet retreat in the heart of London—perfect for concert-goers who want comfort, convenience, and charm.

The Worst hotel I’ve ever...

Liked: Nothing
Disliked: The room was so compact and tiny, staff unhelpful and noise was ridiculous from rooms above and next door! Chewing gum in corridor and mentioned this to reception staff who seemed unconcerned and treated this as matter of fact! This is definitely NOT a 4 star hotel and should be a minimum 3 star! The whole experience was awful and it’s in dire need of updating! The WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in!!

Very dated

Liked: Staff were friendly, location good. Room was large
Disliked: Very dated. Needs decorating. Rooms in bad state of repair. Our room had a faint whiff of smoke in itBreakfast had a separate menu for those who prepaid with our booking. Though quality of food was good ( though first lot of eggs came out raw) they wouldn't allow us to order cheaper options of the Al a carte menu which was strange
