Easy walk to the old...

Liked: Close to centre of town to walk to.
Disliked: Introduction to facilities was a little quick and missed on a few things such as late entry location.

Liked: Great staff and location but rooms could do with an upgrade. Facilities in the room were more than adequate
Disliked: Rooms were tired.

Good enough, but Booking.com should...

Liked: Breakfast and Restaurant were great.Staff were friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Booking.Com had an absolutely NO CHANGE policy on this one hotel out the many I have booked over the years... I wasn't careful enough to recognize this before I pushed the button to book it (many months before arrival) and NO MATTER WHO I CONTACTED the reservation could NOT BE CHANGED. It cost me 5 nights of rooms because of this....ridiculous!!! The Wales area was unusually hot and, as usual, the windows had to be open because of no air conditioning... but it was near a busy street and that kept me awake. The hardest thing was that I had a slightly larger rental car than most, and there are stone walls on either side of the only entry/exit to parking lot, the narrowest point was so close on both sides of the car that i had to go inside and get a staff person to come out and help me get through that narrow area!! I tried to park in the small parking area before the narrow point, but sometimes it was full (the restaurant is a popular place on weekends especially).

Great location, great staff, great...

Liked: Staff, especially RAFFI, front desk clerk was helpful with answers to many questions. Called us a TAXI when we needed. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, compliments to the chef! I wish we had been able to have dinner here one of the nights, but the hours were limited so we missed it.
Disliked: Our bed was old, and very uncomfortable. Our room had a window, for air flow which was much needed, but the table below our window was where everyone smoked cigarettes, so the we couldn't open a window.
