Jewel of a boutique hotel...

Liked: Excellent location and comfortable accommodation. Superb bathroom, linens and toiletries. Appreciated provision of Clipper tea range. Staff were exceptional - attentive, delightful personalities and food was wonderful. We appreciated the choice of cooked breakfasts as well as the a La carte dinner menu.
Disliked: The only negative comment is on the salacious and quite inappropriate choice of paintings in the dining room which were jarring. But everything else was marvellous!

Liked: We loved the decor in our room. We found the bathroom very smart but would have appreciated a hand held shower.The food was outstandingly good.The staff could not have been warmer or more helpful.

Liked: As the weather was so hot, the owner upgraded guests to cooler rooms which was very considerate. The room was very comfortable and our upgrade had a small lounge as well. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Perfect stay.
