An inexpensive stay.

Liked: Staff very helpful. An inexpensive night in the town I wanted. Comfy bed. Clean.
Disliked: The rooms and corridors were clean, but badly in need of TLC (paintwork etc). I don’t mind sharing a bathroom, but the fact that the only loo for the rooms was in the bathroom is likely to annoy others as well as me.

Liked: It was central to where we needed to be
Disliked: It was dirty, I found the one member of staff I dealt with rude

Too low-brow for someone older

Liked: Low end, low budget, not to my liking. It might appeal to the “Britain on $60 a Day” crowd but it held no sppeal to me.
Disliked: On a busy street with traffic noise from 5 am to Midnight. Very old building with not much done to fix it up. Security system was old and cranky. Shared shower stall needed to be cleaned.

Excellent value, but look outside...

Liked: Very spacious room - tall, airy, even an open fireplace!
Disliked: No breakfast facilities - it's really stretching it to call it a 'hotel!'
