Disappointing in some areas

Liked: The location. The bar staff were amazing.
Disliked: The reception staff were not very helpful. We reported a problem with the water drainage in our shower, and it was not resolved. My husband cold not take a shower for the fear of overflowing water. Staff did not care less

Disliked: They were clueless about mixing cocktails. Only one member of staff on duty for breakfast on Sunday. No toilet roll in the gents on Saturday or Sunday morning.

Liked: Location. I didn't have a car but buses or taxi was accessible.The staff were friendly and helpful when I had a problem with the room and changed it.Breakfast food was good.
Disliked: The first room had the shower over the bath but had a very high side that I could not safely step over. The staff transferred me to a room with a proper shower. ByThey have removed our favourite part of the hotel with the lounge bar. They only have the pub bar at the front. Several others mentioned this being the what gave the hotel it's special ambience No evening food.

Liked: Very helpful man at reception who did his best to help with our request. Comfortable bed and pillows. Amazing breakfast. Welcome drinks. Location.
Disliked: You cannot open the windows in the room at all. No fresh air in the room. AC helps with the temperature regulation, but it is not the same as to open the window to refresh the room after previous customers and before night sleep. Gven that the sea is nearby,such s shame not to have a chance to let a bit of sea breeze come to the room.I would book it again if there was an option to open the window even if just a bit(not wide). I understand all the health and safery issues.
