Liked: Friendly staff and good beer and food.
Disliked: The room was in need of updating. It was at the end of a corridor on the ground floor. It was cold and the shower was inadequate. Very disappointed as if the room had been comfortable we would stay again.

Liked: Staff were absolutely lovely and the food was excellent and very good value. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There was clearly a serious medical event affecting another resident whilst we were there and I have to say that the staff dealt with this really well... they were calm and remained really professional in a difficult situation.
Disliked: Bedroom and bathroom were a little tired, locks were broken, toilet roll holder broken etc, not a big issue just needs some tlc.

Despite some complaints the stay...

Liked: Food very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.Pleasant location.
Disliked: No wardrobe in the room and the only place to hang up clothes was on three hooks in the wall and they were above the bedside lamp. No space in bathroom to put toiletries and the plug in the basin wouldn't reach the plug hole! The curtains were far to long and about two feet of them were spread on the floor and looked a mess. The pine furniture in the room had been painted but the paint was flaking off.
