In summary, the property is...
Liked: The evening presentation of the wine and cheese convinced me the breakfast offering would be similar, not special. We found another restaurant to eat
Disliked: The internet says self parking is available. Not so. When we arrived there was no spaces in front the hotel to park and unload. After several trips around the hotel we found a parking facility beneath the hotel with a closed garage door. Luckily the door opened due to a member of the valet team retrieving a car. We took the opportunity to self-park in the garage. There was no signs indicating what spaces to use. We found a spot only to learn at check in it was the wrong spot. The valet staff moved the car. Turns out the parking wasn't free, there was a charge of $38. After we got our bags to the check in desk and checked it we proceeded to the room by ourselves. In the room the television had a unusual control system that dissuaded us from watching tv. Fine, I watch too much tv anyway. The room lights were controlled by an unusual light switch that dimmed certain lights, and controlled other lights throughout the room. Never quite figured that out in 12 hours. Even the toilet had an unusual flushing system. Since there were only two choices it was simple to figure that out. The point is since we identified ourselves as first time customers it would have been nice to have some assistance with how he room functioned and maybe some ice when we arrived. In the morning, since we had self parked the car we had no receipt to get the car from the valet. Again, since at check in we told the "parking story" above you'd think they would have sent the receipt to the room or called to tell us it was available to be picked up at the front desk. At check out we asked to have our charges emailed to us. I had to call a second time a week later to obtain it. I have other thoughts, but I'm out of space

It was a nice hotel...
Liked: My wife and I liked the character of the room. The bathroom was nice and the feel of the room was cool.
Disliked: The bed was hard and very uncomfortable. We were going to stay longer but it shorten our stay. They had limited food choices for vegans. The valet ended up being $38 instead of the price of $28 which I was told by the valet guy when I asked before choosing to valet. The elevator was a lil scary because it seemed not to work. When you get on it makes a noise and shakes and it seems like it's stuck because it takes a long time to get to the floor and open. There are only 2 floors in the hotel
