The Inn & Suites Omaha Near Zoo

I should've read the reviews before booking. Normally I do, however this time I was so excited that they were going to feed me breakfast I forgot to check everything else and then I didn't even get my breakfast.

Liked: Beds were good and comfortable. No bed bugs.
Disliked: Overfilling trash containers out front. Poor front desk help at check in. No breakfast; no ice; coffee maker didn't have a basket. Smelled of urine in the hall. TV didn't work. Door didn't shut completely on it's own. Poor lighting.

Everything else was nice.

Liked: Overall not bad.
Disliked: Sink would not drain and shower had barely any water coming out.

Liked: Rooms were very nice.

Liked: Nothing, it was closed when we got there. There was chains on the door and a big sign that said closed no vacancy. Found out FBI had shut it down. Pretty Shady area as well.
Disliked: Well since we didn't get to stay there I am actually glad. The area was pretty shady. And the pictures were nothing like what was on the web sight.. Don't book this hotel, you will be disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting, dirty and not...

Liked: The bones of the hotel are great but appears to have been abandoned years ago and the new owners did nothing to clean it or renovate. It still feels abandoned. The pool area was the saving grace. Spent most of our time on the patio which was beautiful but still very ghetto.
Disliked: Where do is start?!? First off, the place was FILTHY! Dog hair on the bed, toenail clippings on the floor. I put a towel down to wipe up some water and the towel was black with dirt! It was disgusting. Like it hadn't been cleaned in years. I could go on for hours. It really should not be open. Grateful I brought clorex wipes. Very little standard for hospitality.

Hotel sucked! Don't stay there!...

Liked: Its proximity to the zoo was very nice and the coffee shop. Scooters hat was across the parking lot was awesome!
Disliked: It was FILTHY!!! The floors turned to muddy puddles when wet. Every surface was in need of being wiped off as it was visibly dirty. I had to clean the airconditioner because it eas COVERED in dust and lint! It was disgusting! There was dog hair and dog food and toenail clippings all over the floor! It obviously had not been cleaned or vacuumed it quite some time!!! None of our doors functioned correctly and were difficult to open and close. Including one that was installed upside-down and therefore couldn't be locked! Thankfully we had family on the other side. The shower door was installed backwardsand therefore FELLOFF when it was being slid open! We were the ones who fixed it as there was no one at the front desk when it happened for several minutes. The trash wasn't taken out, unless we put it in the hallway. The sheets were dirty and had to be replaced. There was panters tape on everything. There was no soap and when we asked for soap we were given conditioner and were told it's the same as soap. We also found a GIANT Carolina wolf spider (more than 2 inches in diameter!) in our room!!! No one was at the front desk for 30 minutes. We removed it ourselves. When I did find someone who worked there they were glad I removed it but were unconcerned that it was in the room and said it probably came from outside. DUH!! NOT HELPFUL! We did not get compensated in any way for this or any of the issues we had, not even an apology! Everything was rundown and falling apart. We will not be returning!
