The Inn & Suites Omaha Near Zoo

I should've read the reviews before booking. Normally I do, however this time I was so excited that they were going to feed me breakfast I forgot to check everything else and then I didn't even get my breakfast.

Liked: Beds were good and comfortable. No bed bugs.
Disliked: Overfilling trash containers out front. Poor front desk help at check in. No breakfast; no ice; coffee maker didn't have a basket. Smelled of urine in the hall. TV didn't work. Door didn't shut completely on it's own. Poor lighting.

Everything else was nice.

Liked: Overall not bad.
Disliked: Sink would not drain and shower had barely any water coming out.

Liked: Rooms were very nice.

Liked: The proximity to the zoo
Disliked: The staff was very rude. The floors were so dirty that the bottom of my socks were black.

Liked: Beds were comfortable. Pool was fun. Staff was friendly.
Disliked: Very worn carpeting and aside from the room, was not clean. Smelled of pot in the hall. Staff reported that new management was in place and things were improving.

Pleasant

Liked: The only redeemable quality was the lady who checked us in was very nice.
Disliked: This place should be a 1 star motel. looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years or maintained at all. Our room was a nightmare. Hand prints on the walls, hole in the bathroom walls, bugs in the bathroom, smell of smoke everywhere, smoke detector pulled out, used shampoo and soap, trash bins not emptied. Just a gross place to stay. Worst place I have been in since I was in college.

Disliked: I made a reservation three weeks ahead of time and they did not have a room for me. They turned away people that were ahead of me, and once that came after me.They did not give a reason. I will never ever go there again

Liked: That it was near the ZOO.
Disliked: One of our rooms had used sex toys. Pool was not heated at all so kids couldn't swim and food was sad. They limited what they put out for breakfast. So if you were not out right away in the morning you didn't get anything.

Unsafe and disappointed in Omaha

Liked: Location was close to downtown and next to I-80, indoor pool was small but nice, comfortable bed, good water pressure. Plenty of parking, near fast food/coffee
Disliked: DO NOT STAY HERE! No hand soap in the entire hotel, was given shampoo. Language barrier with the night, after 3pm front desk staff. Included breakfast was so random that it was frustrating to know what to expect day-to-day, I stayed 3 nights. All the hot items were terrible to disgusting depending on if you could taste them or not. Temperatures were not up to health regulations! Pillows are lumpy and probably from the 60's. This place has long-term tenants that are loud and invite a crowd to the parking lot that had the police show up twice over three days.
