Does What it Says on...

Liked: Came after walking along Hadrian's Wall and then down to Brampton. Seemed like the best place in town and overall I was happy with it. Ultimately it is just a pub with rooms and overall it does it well, nothing fancy, but a place to sleep for the night.

Exceptional

Liked: Absolutely smashed our expectations.. the rooms are immaculate with amazing little details to make your stay enjoyable . Comfy beds with a great shower. The food is so good both dinner and breakfast. However the best of all is that all the staff are genuinely welcoming helpful . This is the best value for money. . Specisl thanks to the chef who made a special gluten free desert. .

Very good

Liked: Central location in a lovely town. Friendly staff. Shops and buses nearby.
Disliked: I struggled with the stairs but that's my problem. Train not in town and had trouble getting a taxi in but probably lack of planning on my part.
