The Hotel @ Fifth Avenue

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location was just right. We found a gem of a property in Manhattan. We are so looking forward to our next trip to NY.

Disliked: Was not made aware that the breakfast room was closed when booking the reservation.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything! The beds were memory foam and so comfortable! Our room seemed newly remodeled. The room was a bit small but we didn't care - just needed it to sleep and shower! The staff was friendly and helpful. The valet guy could have been a little more friendly but our car got to the parking garage and that's all we needed! The parking garage is right across the street so that was very convenient. We had a great stay!

Disliked: The only missing thing was an electrical kettle.

Liked: The location was absolutely perfect — right in the heart of the city, with so many attractions, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. Public transportation stations were just a short walk away, which made it incredibly easy to get around and explore the city without any hassle.The staff were also fantastic — always friendly, welcoming, and ready to help with anything I needed. Their warm attitude really added to the overall experience
Disliked: I was very disappointed with certain aspects of my stay at this hotel. For two days in a row, the elevators were out of service, and we had to climb 12 floors by the stairs — which was extremely inconvenient and exhausting.While cleaning was done daily, it was not up to standard. Some days we had to request new sheets because the ones provided had stains on them, which is unacceptable for any hotel.The worst part was one night when we discovered a cockroach in the bathroom. This left a very poor impression and made me question the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property.Unfortunately, despite the location and staff, these issues made my stay far less enjoyable than it should have been.

Liked: Good place, great location, subway very near, lots of restaurants and market, it looks like you are in Hong Kong
Disliked: No shuttle from the airports... but it was okay! Subway is not difficult and free bus is excellent
