The Hotel @ Fifth Avenue

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location was just right. We found a gem of a property in Manhattan. We are so looking forward to our next trip to NY.

Disliked: Was not made aware that the breakfast room was closed when booking the reservation.

The location was perfect, right in the middle of everything! The beds were memory foam and so comfortable! Our room seemed newly remodeled. The room was a bit small but we didn't care - just needed it to sleep and shower! The staff was friendly and helpful. The valet guy could have been a little more friendly but our car got to the parking garage and that's all we needed! The parking garage is right across the street so that was very convenient. We had a great stay!

Disliked: Only one lift working, thus waiting forever. We were charged additional 25$ that were not mentioned anywhere. No reaction from management. Still waiting for reimbursement via Booking

Disliked: Needs badly updating. Carpets warn out, Infact everything was tackyCould not adjust temperature for shower and just dripping. For the price paid, no complementary water, no shower cap. Sad these little things make a difference. A rip off, really should get a part refund.

Disliked: One of the lifts didn't work for much of the time, which meant it took ages getting to or from the floor; toiletries not changed regularly enough
