The Hollywood Roosevelt

The hotel is great fun, but the room itself sucked. Try to request a newly renovated room upon booking.

Liked: Great staff (shout out to Antoine at Public Bar); good music at pool; nice lobby; late checkout 12:30.
Disliked: Room lighting is terrible; room had a weird smell; awful picture above bed of a junked out rocker type; very expensive room service; thin walls.

Disliked: TV did not work properly, came on throughout the night, select one channel chose another. Noisy bathroom and light kept coming on with no one in the bathroom.

AVOID - VALET SERVICE DAMAGED...

Disliked: We came to L.A. to purchase a car, which we bought and drove straight off the car lot to the hotel where they charge you $75 to valet park it. We figured this was safer than parking it at a nearby lot. However, when we picked up the car, the attendants didn’t mention to us that they’d had a few accidents with it. We have the before pics from the dealership of the car’s pristine condition, and below are the after-valet-parking-got-done-with-it pics. Messed up and cracked rear bumper, scratched front bumper, paint scraped off the door handle, and the door bumper bent out of joint and scraped up. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR POSSESSIONS.

Disliked: The lift was broken and with a toddler was a nightmare to climb the 5 floorsOur shower was broken (almost no pressure of water) The reception told me they will refund one night but they didnt. I sent then a message , no answer
