Great food and staff.

Liked: Excellent staff. Great food.
Disliked: Rooms are pricey. I was at the side of the hotel and it is the access for deliveries early in the mroning so noisy.

Fab location, great food.

Liked: Location is fabulous with a great breakfast. Lovely old pub/hotel that could do with a bit of a freshen up as the rooms are a little tired, but it's the perfect place to stay if you're fishing or just exploring the Test Valley.
Disliked: The bedrooms can get a little hot in the summer.

Lovely hotel, would definitely recommend

Liked: The grounds were stunning, the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was exceptional.
Disliked: This isn’t the hotels fault, when I was visiting there was extremely hot weather. So The only thing I struggled with was the heat in my room. Although there was a fan in my room, the windows were very small and didn’t let in much air but the staff did provide a second fan which I was very grateful for.

Liked: The staff were all fantastic, from the manager, bar staff, breakfast team and cleaners, nothing was too much trouble, all queries answered promptly and went over and above to help. The bed was super comfy and the room was styled beautifully, super quirky bar is a lovely place to while away a few hours and the breakfast bar was well stocked and delicious, didn't need anything cooked once I'd filled up on that, lovely coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice straight to the table. Ooh and a huge car park, we will 100% stay again, thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay :)
Disliked: Teeny tiny criticism - light on all night in the communal hall - a draft excluder in the room would be good so we can block out the light from this.
