Good value for money in...

Liked: Location was great. 24 hr reception very convenient.
Disliked: No air conditioning in a London heat wave was very uncomfortable.

Never again

Liked: The breakfast spread was bountiful and the English breakfast option was good
Disliked: The room was dreadful, lumpy bed with springs poking in my back, bathroom had a dreadful stench the shower rose went everywhere except on me tried to explain this to reception and was greeted with very unresponsive unhelpful no comment. The room was no bigger than harry potters and right next to the lift that was as noisy as it's occupants sounding like a fire breathing dragon.

Fine enough for location and...

Liked: Staff were helpful and pleasant. The location is great, 5 minutes from Paddington and steps from several bus lines. Rooms were clean and did a good job of blocking noises from adjoining rooms.
Disliked: Even for London hotels, rooms were extraordinarily small. The WiFi was extremely spotty and didn’t work at all in some rooms. The breakfast was fine; not much variety, but if you’re good with eggs and sausage or cold cereal and fruit it should suit you well. There is a lift, which is great, but it’s tiny and also heavily used in the morning by cleaning staff so would recommend using the stairs if you can.

A great location, lovely friendly...

Liked: Reception and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well located in a lovely tree lined lane, very easy walk to Paddington Station. Close to eateries and very easy to get all over London using the Tube. The bed was nice and comfortable, bathroom was a great size. The bedroom was a little compact but had everything we needed. The lift was a big plus as we were on the 4th floor. Breakfast was great as were the staff. We really enjoyed our 3 night stay and would definitely recommend.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like.

Avoid must be better places...

Liked: Location and friendly staff that was only positive.
Disliked: Rats outside building going in and out bin bags. Watched them going in and out and heard them rustling in the grass. No air conditioning. Breakfast poor. Rooms very small. Mattresses springy. Need redecoration badly . Broken floor tiles on bathroom . Lift one old and slow.
