Disapointing
Liked: The bed is comfortable; location is central.
Disliked: The front desk is cold and has zero customer service, no concierge was available to help us on check out, the bed sheets were dirty, although the location is central, it is also VERY noisy, they do not have any facilities. I do not understand how this hotel is a 4 stars, i expected more the rate we paid.

Not my type.
Liked: The manager is very professional, so there is a plus there for this hotel. I think his name was Bryan but could be mistaken. Thanks for your help during my stay. The room was clean and nice. The thing is, there are some issues that exceed management. Although I do not often reserve at boutique hotels, this was a busy week in NYC and lodging was scarce, so I stayed at The Gregorian which was ok, but for over 400 dollars the night, was a little bit of a disappointment for me.
Disliked: There is no bar or any kind of food or beverage service at The Gregorian. There is no coffee or tea elements in the room. A couple of filtered water bottles are in the room which I tried and would not recommend (weird taste). And that is all for beverages at the hotel. No vending machines, no drinks anywhere. No breakfast service at all. And this is supposed to be a 4 star hotel. Sound proof of windows is insufficient, so be prepare to sleep with earplugs. The "gym" is very small. I did not used it. I arrived around 3 pm and waited for 10 minutes for my turn to check in (only one person doing the check-in). Room was ready but because there was still 15 other minutes for check-in time, I had to return later. Although I understand this is a minor issue, it could improve overall hospitality to find a way to have people checked in and only have them getting their key room when returning later (just a suggestion). It shortens the delays at check-in time by having IDs, credit cards and payments controlled before.
