Exceptional

Liked: I really enjoyed my stay the hotel is clean the food was great catered for my Dietary needs staff lovely plus they loved my dog I will be back had lovely time.
Disliked: Leaving

Liked: Always an excellent stay, fantastic breakfast, brilliant staff, big room, perfect for what we required. Outstanding value for money too.

Great location, food & staff...

Liked: Building & location was wonderful. Staff were friendly and very accommodating. Food was great (portions too big!). Great easy parking & loved the cows in the field.
Disliked: But the room was not as good as I expected, looked old & in need of an upgrade. Chipped bath, bed was too soft & small, TV was very awkward to watch, need 2 chairs for 2 room /guests, not 1.

Liked: Staff were friendly and attentive.
Disliked: Room was large but was rather warm. Ensuite shower was somewhat small. Rest of the ensuite was fine but would have benefited from an internal fan.A bit of a hike from Carlisle and the M6.Still would stay again.
