A lovely hotel with welcoming...

Liked: Very welcoming and accommodating to our needs.
Disliked: Was very warm in rooms.

Liked: Location was great for the Kelpies which is why we stayed

Liked: Stopped off after doing NC500 and camping I was looking forward to a clean room shower and bed, also booked this hotel as it is close to The Kelpies and Falkirk Wheel.Breakfast was very good only asked for bacon nd tomato what a plate of food I received

Lovely!

Liked: Loved it - we were moved from the main house, for which we'd been offered a free upgrade at no extra cost, to the garden annex because we let them know we were taking a dog with us - they waived the extra fee for the dog due to the room swap - no problem and thanks :) The bed was enormous and soooo comfortable, ideal as we used this as a stopover travelling back from The Outer Hebrides. It was a wonderfully quite night with the ability to throw the window wide open, trees right outside the window and the long awaited rain pouring down all night - bliss. We slept for 9 hours!Best bit - we didn't have to vacate the room until 11am - gave us time to wander along the canal from the hotel and up to visit The Kelpies...well worth the walk.Very happy guests.
Disliked: OK if I was picky I suppose the bathroom could do with a refurb but the shower was more than adequate and it was all very clean and everything worked as it should.
