We had a noise problem from other guests, so they moved our room. They were all very good and understanding, though it appeared that the noisy guests had created problems on other nights and police were called out. So why, when knowing that they had a guest issue we were put in a room by the problem, I'm unsure but we were moved very quickly. Decor was a bit hit and miss in some areas and cleaning was an issue. Breakfast was wonderful. if a little slow, but great choice.

Liked: Staff and breakfast.
Disliked: Decor needing attention.

Rooms are nothing like the...

Liked: The location was good, literally opposite the train station. Also the food was excellent, really. Loved the breakfast: sour dough, best sausage I've had in forever, perfectly cooked eggs.
Disliked: The rooms were NOTHING AT ALL like the pictures. We told them this but they said the online pictures are just for an 'idea' -- all rooms online have the same pictures though. Changed to this 'king' room even that was still disappointing: very small, hot water issues in bathroom, hot tub was 45 degrees (super hot) so couldn't use it first night, room service was often incorrect/slow/cold.

Great location and delicious breakfast...

Liked: Great location, right across the way from the railway. Restaurant and bar are beautiful. Breakfast was lovely!
Disliked: Even with closed windows, there was street noise coming in from people and motorists outside the window. Other rooms may be better for noise on a Sunday night. We were in room 101 and did not sleep well.

Nice hotel in a great...

Liked: Location was great. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Good atmosphere in the hotel.
Disliked: Our stay was great other than not being able to dine on our day or arrival and not being told on arrival that we had to book. Once we were told we couldn’t eat, we were ignored by staff and ended up leaving for food elsewhere.

Great location for rail links...

Liked: Great location for Swansea rail station that is just over the road, used for a concert in Cardiff.

Liked: Location was good and staff friendly.
Disliked: The hairdryer didn't work and there was no hot water on Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening.
