Liked: Friendly staff. A nice bright room with everything we needed. Comfortable bed.Excellent breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Not much the fish and Chips were good
Disliked: The room couldn't swing a cat in it,Tea coffee milk water etc in the room but no kettle, went down to the bar and brought it to their attention, Nothing done to resolve the problem,The shower was good but total Lack of shower gel,, the bed was to small feet hanging out the end of the bed as for value 115 pounds is way too much have seen alot better öfters in the area prices at 70 to 80 pounds ,See photos.t

Traditional country pub in Cumbria

Liked: Old style pub accommodation, welcoming, good food well prepared, rooms were clean and comfortable
Disliked: It’s was all good 😊

Decent pub and rooms

Liked: Super friendly staff above a great bar full of locals playing cards and having a great time. Check in was really easy and it was nice to be able to pay at the hotel as opposed to online for a change. The staff did a great job with leaving me breakfast out as I had to leave before breakfast was served (breakfast starts at 9 o'clock, so if you need to leave early remember to ask).
Disliked: The room was really cold, the radiator seemed to be not working. I ended up sleeping in my jumper. The rooms are really quite small, it's great for one night but not for much longer.

Liked: We had the continental as we left early, the location was very nice.
Disliked: The room was very small with just one chair for 2 people and no dressing table or wardrobe. It was quite noisy when the restaurant was being cleared up

Liked: We loved the old English pub vibe. Cosy, warm and welcoming.
Disliked: The outside decor needs repainting. It does not give a good first impression but once through the doors any doubts dissipated.
