Good, but not as good...

Liked: Room 12A felt a bit of a dungeon - we had a sort of window - and I was worried that I might break my nose if I got up from the bed during the night as the wall was so close! Great bathroom, though.Loved the downstairs wooden-pannelled ambience, however.Have stayed with you before, but enjoyed better rooms.

A little dated but great...

Liked: Good value for money and a great location for exploring the lake district. All the staff were very friendly and attentive.
Disliked: The hotel looks like its trying to renovate slowly but the rooms are quite dated.
