Liked: The staff were excellent, breakfast was also excellent albeit limited choice included. A bit dated but spotlessly clean.

Very disappointed

Liked: Our first evening we had a meal and they didn’t have the wine we wanted. We had starters of Halloumi and it was overcooked. There was a band playing and our room was directly over so didn’t get to rest until late. Shower in on suit no pressure and toilet was smelly. Saturday Had an early morning alarm from workmen in the next room drilling. Saturday breakfast we came down at 9am and wasn’t served not even a cuppa until 10 so consequently didn’t stay for breakfast on the Sunday. The list goes on unfortunately so won’t be returning to The George
