Improvements needed
Liked: The older style furniture in the bedroom and the well decorated bathroom
Disliked: The location was on a busy road with an airfield across the road. The bedroom was far too hot, even with two fans on and the windows open, it was unbearable. The cooked breakfast had no flavour and the coffee was vile.

Not staying there again.
Liked: The location was spot on as we were visiting family very close by.
Disliked: The room (superior) was very tatty. There were a lot of carpet stains. The wallpaper was peeling in many places and stains up the walls. No tea or coffee making facilties. The breakfast ordering system was very out dated. The beans were way too runny & cheap. On leaving the building the floor at reception had just been cleaned. But no sign mind the wet floor...

Adequate
Liked: Great location and a beautiful building inside and out that could be so much more ...staff really pleasant ,fan in room
Disliked: Rooms are really basic and under invested shower in single on top floor a trickle, electric plug in double room miles away from side of bed ,sounds picky but its the little things, tired carpets etc

Bad
Liked: Nothing
Disliked: I was charged £125 for a single night. It's located on a busy road (admittedly this can't be helped, but worth considering). The wallpaper was peeling in my 'superior' room. It was dirty and tired. There are no plug sockets near the bed to plug in your phone/tablet/laptop. The water pressure is crap. Barely a dribble out of the (cramped) shower in room 19. I raised my concerns with the staff member. When asking for a solution (ie, a full refund) I was told I'd have to email the manager. No timescale for a resolution. Eventually, we were put in another room. This wasn't a huge improvement, but it was quieter and the shower worked. Parking is very limited, not helped by the fact that three cars in the carpark were double parked. Nothing done by staff on this. Charging £125/night for a sub-par hotel is an insult, when Premier Inn is available for less.
