Disliked: We had a room on the other side of the hotel and we had to use the elevators near the service area. It was giving abandoned vibes

Liked: I booked my stay up through Booking.com and I would have to say the charges at the front desk had nothing to do with Booking.com so I got charged twice and they held onto my money for 10 days. That is the only negative experience we had and I really resent that.Although I must say the gentleman name Skye in Accounting was absolutely outstanding in dealing with my problem

Traditional hotel with great location

Liked: Elegant, traditional hotel. Beautiful rooms, public spaces, lobby, bar and restaurant. Reign Restaurant was wonderful!
Disliked: The room was a little small, not terrible, and typical for a large city.

Great location and beautiful heritage...

Liked: Room was a perfect size for one person. Location was great - close to a lot of things. Comfortable bed - great sleep.
Disliked: I didn't like that nothing got replenished on day 2. I received no extra water, or soap, or even tissue in the bathroom.

Disliked: We were given a lesser room than we booked, we had to complain. Some of us were upgraded, some of our group got a refund and some got nothing. You cannot get into the bars easily. They are full most of the time. Hotel guests are not given priority.The hotel is too dark especially around reception when you need to look at documents. Not much lighting in the rooms either.Deposits are taken off cards and not refunded for over 20 days.Payments were taken out twice. An extra charge was put on the room because the hotel was over 90% capacity! Apparently it’s in the terms and conditions!!
