Great location; lovely historic hotel, and overall, friendly and hospitable staff.

Liked: Our reservation was for queen beds but were given full size. They were 54”. We slept very uncomfortable. When I brought it up to staff I was told by desk personal that hotel queen beds run smaller than home queen beds (I don’t think so, I didn’t appreciate being lied to.)The room was very roomy, in fact a little long. There was only 1 desk chair in the room. While my wife sat there there was nowhere else to sit. Watching tv was not doable from the bed in the long room to the small tv (32”). I asked staff if I could get another chair so I could put it closer to the tv but it never came. On one of the days housekeeping did not leave clean towels after they cleaned the room. I had to ask 3 times before they finally came. (9pm).

Disliked: Lack of a USB port in room.Unable to obtain additional towels after being told by staff they were on the way.TV to the side of bed. Uncomfortable to watch.

Liked: Cleanliness, proximity to the Alamo, friendly late night check in staff.
Disliked: Everything was great. The only drawback was that we asked to have our valet parked car brought up when we checked out, and somehow there was a glitch. After waiting longer than expected, someone else (a nice young gentleman at the outside bellhop desk) ended up shagging the car for us.
