Great city stay

Liked: Great hotel in fantastic location, free parking. Lovely clean rooms, comfy bed and fantastic breakfast

Very good

Liked: Good locstion with parking. Friendly staff, busy public bar on ground floor.
Disliked: Room under the eaves. I am only 5'2" but kept bumping my head on sloping ceiling. Shower cublicle was a bit cramped, one part of shower fitting fell off every day. Cooking smells from kitchen ventilator right outside window. I would stay again, but maybe not in Room 9.

A good place to stay...

Liked: Great location, within walking distance of the City. The breakfasts were very good - the omelettes in particular were excellent. There was cereal, but no yoghurts, no fresh fruit, no croissants or pastries, no juices left out - you had to ask every time you wanted more juice! Tea and coffee were good, but again everything had to be requested. The staff were lovely, kind and helpful. No complaints at all there!
Disliked: We had a long journey from Essex. Bit of a shame the kitchen closed at 9pm. No room service either. So, we ordered a pizza. Would have been good to have the kitchen open, so that those of us travelling from afar could at least get toast or a sandwich.

Liked: Nice little hotel, great staff, not luxurious but for teh price overall good value
Disliked: Shower head was faulty and waste water was backing up. Room got warm and no climate control - just a good old fashioned window which felt uncomfortable as there was a flatroof outside my room
