Disliked: The blocked sink in my room and the faulty door handle to my room. I was offered a different room but I was too tired to move.

Good old fashioned personal hospitality...

Liked: Lovely location and very quiet despite the proximity to the road. Rooms are at the back of the building overlooking the moors. A delightful and professional welcome and nothing was too much trouble to make our stay comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and food was excellent and home cooked. This is a family business that takes pride in its offering. We needed to leave before the normal breakfast time, but were provided with amazing fresh BLT sandwiches, water, biscuits, crisps and fruit to take with us. Our room was large and very comfortable; everything was spotlessly clean. We’d stay again.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. Evening meals also. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. Bar was very cosy with great atmosphere.
