Just a mile from Llanelli's center the luxury The Diplomat Hotel Restaurant & Spa has free parking free Wi-Fi and a modern leisure center. Ffos Las Racecourse is a 10-minute drive away. The hotel was built in 1810 and today its 50 bedrooms boast stylish décor and modern features. Rooms are located in the Main building and also in the Coach House (annex Building). Each room includes a TV hairdryer tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom. Guests can relax in the luxurious New Eden Spa with facilities including a sauna steam room hot tub gym and indoor pool. A range of health and beauty treatments are also available. Traditional Welsh and lighter continental breakfasts are served in the Atrium each morning. Trubshaw Restaurant named after Concorde Chief Test Pilot and former guest Brian Trubshaw offers a modern menu. The Millennium Coastal Park with views of the Gower Peninsula is about 1.5 miles away. Comfortable and pleasant hotel

Liked: Large room and newly decorated
Disliked: Breakfast was a bit plastic! Tinned tomatoes and tinned fruit.

Bad

Disliked: not possible to sleep, parties parties parties! food very poor. Staff at reception not very friendly. When I said that I have very bad night and cant sleep till 12am as there was laud music and shouting in hotel, she just ignore me. Nightmare not a hotel. Never ever again

Liked: Size and cleanliness of the rooms
Disliked: Needed either air con or a fan in the room as it was very hot. Also weren’t told it was an interconnecting room and the occupiers of that room were very loud in the early hours and needed to be told to shut up
