Just a mile from Llanelli's center the luxury The Diplomat Hotel Restaurant & Spa has free parking free Wi-Fi and a modern leisure center. Ffos Las Racecourse is a 10-minute drive away. The hotel was built in 1810 and today its 50 bedrooms boast stylish décor and modern features. Rooms are located in the Main building and also in the Coach House (annex Building). Each room includes a TV hairdryer tea/coffee facilities and a private bathroom. Guests can relax in the luxurious New Eden Spa with facilities including a sauna steam room hot tub gym and indoor pool. A range of health and beauty treatments are also available. Traditional Welsh and lighter continental breakfasts are served in the Atrium each morning. Trubshaw Restaurant named after Concorde Chief Test Pilot and former guest Brian Trubshaw offers a modern menu. The Millennium Coastal Park with views of the Gower Peninsula is about 1.5 miles away. Just 5 minutes' drive brings guests to the famous Parc-Y-Scarlets Rugby Stadium home of the Llanelli Scarlets.

We loved it. A birthday...

Liked: The staff absolutely made it. They were lovely and helpful throughout. They put some birthday sprinkles on our dinner table for my husband which was a nice touch. I was surprised that we weren’t given bathrobes at the pool to take back to the room - felt a little less ‘Spa’
Disliked: Our bathroom had a broken toilet seat and bin. Nothing huge but took away from it being completely luxurious.

The most wonderful few days.

Liked: This was the most marvellous stay - very comfortable room with everything we could need. ALL staff were excellent and always greeted us with a smile, but we do have to say the breakfast staff were exceptional. Very good evening meals as well!
