Liked: Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Stay at The Dilly Hotel, London (26.06.2025 – 04.07.2025)Dear Sir/Madam,I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at The Dilly Hotel in London from June 26th to July 4th, 2025. The experience I had was far below the standards I expected from a 5-star hotel, and I feel compelled to raise a formal complaint.Upon arrival, I was shocked to find the room 416 in an unacceptable condition:•The room was dirty•The headboard was torn•The chair was ripped and stained•The table was in a terrible state•The fridge frame was in poor condition•The curtains were partly torn•The closet area where clothes were to be hung was extremely dirtyI immediately brought these issues to the attention of hotel staff, expecting prompt resolution and, at the very least, an apology and a room change. Instead, I was spoken to in a condescending manner and told there were no rooms available. I was asked to wait until Monday.On Monday, no one contacted me as promised, and I had to once again personally raise the issue. It was evident the staff had completely forgotten about the situation. Only after my insistence and asking name, surname and possision in hotel of person I was speaking with (He couldn't give me his business card because he didn't have one. Instead, he wrote only his name on a post-it note, and only upon request did he write his last name and job title - this is the attitude from hotel stuff (a small example)) , was I offered a different room 715, and even then, it was not without further issues:•The air conditioning did not work•The shower drain was blockedWhen you walked on the floor, the whole room would sound because the floor was creaking. I will attach a video with the sound.•Despite multiple requests, the air conditioner was never fixed•A portable cooler filled with ice was provided (with terrible noise - I will attach a video with the sound.

We had a great time...

Liked: Very good breakfast buffet, and air conditioning.
Disliked: They made King size beds by pushing 2 double beds together. The two beds were at different heights and they separated in the middle. Very uncomfortable.
