The Dilly is a superb...

Liked: The room was superb. We had room 411- a suite. I came with my two daughters to celebrate my birthday earlier in the year. Since my husband died a few years ago I’ve had no desire to holiday anywhere but after this fantastic weekend I’m sure I will have further weekend breaks and would certainly come back to the Dilly.The accommodation was lovely, the bedroom was decorated with Happy Birthday banner and festooned with rose petals. It was so magical and I really appreciated the effort your staff went to in order to make the weekend so perfect.All the staff were so attentive.The breakfast as the terrace was lovely - we all enjoyed the freshly made omelettes.One evening we had an Indian sharing platter from the restaurant which was so tasty and you could experience all the different spices without anything being overpowering.As we had booked a suite we were able to enjoy a few Prosecco wines in the Balcony and that was an added bonus.The use of the swimming pool and the availability of other leisure facilities were great.All in all we’ve had a fantastic time and hope to make a return visit.
Disliked: It’s inappropriate to say what “we didn’t like”- however the only problem I found was accessing the lifts. There were occasions I was going up and down until I got to the ground floor or the mezzanine floor.I’m not sure where I was going wrong, but as I’m on holiday I was in rush to get to anywhere. It was a little frustrating though sometimes but in no way did it affect the pleasurable experience of staying at the Dilly.
