Located in the city center and opposite Carlisle Rail Station The County Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Carlisle Cathedral. Disappointed

Disliked: This is the second time of staying at this hotel.The first time was a positive experience so I thought I'd try it again, I was wrong to do so. We was there 4 nights 5days. All the time we was there the mugs was not changed or washed and the bedding didn't get changed at all. It was a completely different stay to the first time.

Superb

Liked: The staff as always are Brilliant, helpful, professional and a credit to the hotel, which is why I always stay there
Disliked: Sadly lift was out of order, but staff always make you aware as soon as a problem arises and the lovely chap on reception offered to carry my bags up for me.

freindly staff and the bed...

Liked: the staff where very friendly and helpful..the location was spot on for the city centre and the price was good
Disliked: the decor was a bit dated
