Stunning building, excellent location A...

Liked: Staff friendly, location is superb, located opposite Hyde Park and a a very short walk to Kensington Palace. Ten minute walk to Paddington Station and beside two tube stations and bus stop. The hotel is only a few stops on the tube to Westfield Shopping Centre and Oxford Street. The building is beautiful and has so much charm.
Disliked: No fridge in bedroom. The bedrooms are needing updated with fresh paint.

We will be happy to...

Liked: Our room was fine but dated, the fan supplied was a boon as the weather was hot & humid. We are used to creaky floors but anyone underneath may have found it noisy. Breakfast was good but some salad veggies would have added to the continental selection. Tomatoes/cucumber/gherkins etc. just add that extra texture & flavour. Selection of pastries was good though the size is overlarge. Experience elsewhere is smaller reduces waste and doesn't over face. You can always have two if they are half the size. Coffee machine was efficient and easy to use. I do like a good cup of tea & my sister likes good coffee.The bar was good especially happy hour and the staff remembered our choice after the 1st night.Staff from reception to catering were very helpful and cheerful which makes us feel welcomed.
Disliked: Update the bathrooms - new showers with more choice and power.Lighten the décor - dark wood makes corridors and room somber.I like a floor plan so I can see the quickest route to a fire exit [ex fire assessor].

Perfect place

Liked: The place is perfectly located, in front of Hyde Park, nearby Lancaster gate and buses stops.The beds were very very comfy, we've really enjoyed our stay.The staff was lovely.We'll probably come back here for our next visit.

Liked: Great location and only 5min walk to Lancaster Gate train station & about 12min walk to Paddington Station.
Disliked: The bathroom needs to be renovated. Shower head was way too low and couldn’t be adjusted making it difficult to wash your hair.
