Very good
Liked: It was very cozy and romantic!!!!!!!
Disliked: Going up and down the steps (which I already knew about) put some strain on my bad knee but celebrating my birthday with my hubby was well worth it.

The Columbia Inn at Peralynna...
Liked: The woman who greeted us was sweet and professional. We loved everything about the room. It was spacious and comfortable, had a nice view, and the soaking tub was wonderful. We will be back.

Interesting and outdated.
Liked: Breakfast was not offered. Location to the event I attended was convenient.
Disliked: An improvement would be to include breakfast. Change the interior room decor. Don't hang ceiling lamp over a bed. More responsive central air/heating system.

Passable
Disliked: The place has a lot of potential to be the charming Inn it holds itself out to be. Unfortunately for whatever reasons, be they financial or just poor choices, the contractors/ handymen they use cut every corner, and use substandard materials. there are also mismatched handles for bathtub, edges broken off of night tables leaving sharp edges, and the one that left us most unhappy was the contractor dimensions sketches written on the wall in the bathroom where the section of wall was unpainted. Who wants to see that when they walk into the mater bathroom every morning? When brought to the management attention, the answer was " no one has seen that before, we dont know what that is" Because of that response, I took a number of photos showing that this was not just someone writing on a wall, but rather the bare sheetrock taping compound, showing this wall had not been painted after the reno work done on the bathroom. 4 days after we reported this the GM said she would call us and let us know what the management says... The outside also needs some new paint as the first impression when pulling up tot he Inn is that is looks shabby and run down. A change in management and a not too much money could really transform this place into something beautiful
