Hotel Description
Boasting elegant rooms with free WiFi cozy bathrobes and luxury toiletries this 4-star boutique hotel is set in quiet and leafy Little Venice. It is just 5 minutes' walk from Paddington Rail Station. Over the years the building has housed a school as well as the hospital that saw the birth of mathematician and Enigma code breaker Alan Turing. Guests can enjoy a short stroll down the scenic canals or head to the city center which is reachable in less than 15 minutes by tube. The rooms are embellished with traditional dark wood furniture and antiques. All beds are wrapped in soft Egyptian cotton linen and complimentary extras such as bottles of water newspapers and tea and coffee making facilities are put at guests' disposal. A wide range of breakfasts are available each morning including full English breakfasts American-style pancakes a variety of eggs or a continental selection. Superb

Liked: Great location. Lovely old building. Pleasant helpful staff. Impressive room with 4 poster bed .
Disliked: I only wanted Muesli for breakfast, but they didn't have any. On the positive side, they didn't charge me for breakfast

Liked: Conveniently located a short walk from Lord’s and only one stop from Paddington Station.
Disliked: Tired in parts. British showers.

Liked: Location
Disliked: Grubby, water pressure issues so no hot water for shower and lift only went to level 2 whereas my room was on level 5.

Lovely small hotel

Liked: Lovely small hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.Big mugs and tea pots for English tea drinkers! Fabulous breakfast. Amazing location, all the sites were in walking distance. We went for an Ed Sheeran concert at The Olympic Stadium and walked there and back, no problem.

Horrible - big mistake

Liked: Nothing was a really bad experience. Staff did at leas decide to move my belongings to a different room, but did not let me know.
Disliked: Had to carry all my bags 4 rooms up, then complained, next day they moved me to a lower room, but the new room was extremely noisy. Could not actually sleep in any of the 2 rooms. This place is not good for your health
