Liked: Very close to everything in Cochrane! We were in town for a wedding at the Ranche House and it was perfect. The owner, Michelle showed us around and was available anytime!
Disliked: Being on top of the bar you do get residual noise from downstairs (hint: karaoke is on Thursday nights) and the big train rolls through a few times in the night.

Liked: Very nice hotel with a bar/restaurant downstairs. The room was small but sufficiently large for the two of us. The hotel/room was clean. There is a large balcony around the hotel accessible to the hotel guests. Very comfortable with nice views over the main street below. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And there is an excellent ice cream shop next door. Don't miss this.
Disliked: There was dancing downstairs in the bar, which my wife enjoyed. The music can be loud. This did not bother us from falling asleep but some other guests may be bothered. I don't remember when the music stopped; it was no problem for us.
