Lovely!

Liked: The location was incredible, and the staff were very friendly. The bed was enormous and very comfy!
Disliked: The vegetarian breakfast didn't come with sausages, but the portion was big enough that it didn't really need them :)

Good value and central location

Liked: Great central location and very cheap considering that it’s right in the centre. We were able to easily come back to the room multiple times a day without it being a long walk. It was helpful having a hair dryer, iron/ironing board and toiletries already in the room. Especially helpful having a powerful fan!Bed was very soft and comfortable and very spacious. Room was quite big too so we had plenty of room to scatter our stuff and put things away.
Disliked: The room was very very stuffy, the fan was very much appreciated though as we wouldn’t have managed without it. The TV was very small, you couldn’t really see the screen when sat in bed. Some of the plug sockets underneath the desk didn’t work (room 4). At the time of booking it mentioned there was a mini fridge in the room which was a huge bonus for me as someone with a food allergy that often brings my own food to places. However when we arrived there was no mini fridge and it had been removed from the listing. Not sure if it was a change to the rooms or a glitch!

Stunning location, beautiful building, amazingly...

Liked: The staff were lovely and very accommodating. It was mine and my partners anniversary, and the staff had no issue in helping me set the room up with flowers, petals and fake candles for when we return from our evening out. Further more, the staff were happy to hold onto our luggage while we explored the city, whilst waiting for our train in the evening, after we had checked out.
Disliked: 1) No air-con but did have a big fan. 2) the shower pressure wasn't amazing and struggled to drain. 3) two single pushed together, instead of 1 double bed

Lovely inn with a great...

Liked: Great location. Lovely vibe. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large and spacious. A little tired looking. Sadly the beds were very uncomfortable. The mattresses were shocking. One of the twin beds had a massive dip in it, both of them had large springs sticking in your back. We stayed in room 7.
Disliked: The mattresses. Had a terrible nights sleep - the right side of the bed was unusable we had to squash up on one bed.

Perfect location in a beautiful...

Liked: The location of the hotel was perfect. All the sights could be reached on foot. There was a car park behind the hotel where you could safely leave the car overnight. The room was very spacious and light from the many windows. Even though the room was above a popular pub, we were never bothered by the noise. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. As there is no elevator, we were happy to have our bags carried to our room for us.
Disliked: Some of the furniture was looking a little tired. The hallway carpet was dirty and well used. The breakfasts were mainly fried foods, so it would be better if they offered some healthier and lighter options.
