Very good, enjoyed my stay.

Liked: Breakfast was pretty standard. Was sufficient and tasted good. Lots of variety. The hotel is quaint and clearly has a history. Loved my room.
Disliked: The control of accounts.

Liked: Beautiful property and a great location. Very nice staff, too.
Disliked: The historic building is L-shaped so if you’re in one wing you have to take quite a trek to get to your room. If mobility is an issue, just book with that in mind, and request a room in the main building.

Beautiful hotel and issue was...

Liked: The property is beautiful and well situated for public transportation.
Disliked: We had an issue with drilling going on in the train station below the hotel (in the middle of the night) but it was quickly resolved by switching rooms to a different part of the hotel. Thanks to Harold! (I think that was his name. That or Ronald.)

Overpriced for the overall experience.

Liked: Very clean rooms, comfortable bed, close proximity to Victoria Station. Grand reception area
Disliked: Water pressure in the shower was very poor, the television in the room intermittently turned on and off, we tried to fix this ourselves but had no luck. The lift to our floor was out of order so we had to take the lift to the nearest floor and then walk the rest of the way upstairs - my partner has a recent knee injury which made this difficult. Staff on check out barely spoke to us and did not ask for any feedback. At over £250 per night the service and facilities fell short.

Liked: Lovely old building , clean, quiet for central London and well located for where we needed .
Disliked: The room we had was smaller than we expected and felt very poky. My husband has stayed her several times before and was surprised as he had always had better rooms.
