The City Rooms is a beautiful Georgian Grade I Listed Building that now features 4 luxurious Boutique hotel suites in the heart of Leicester City Center. Each bedroom is accessed by stairs to the upper floors and receives a complimentary on site city center parking for the period of your stay. The hotel's central position in Leicester city center means that all local amenities are within walking distance including theaters museums stadiums shops bars and restaurants. The City Rooms was originally intended to be Leicester's first Grand hotel but construction stopped before the main bedrooms wing was added to the grand function spaces; giving it the moniker of the hotel that never was. The City Rooms thrives now as a place for celebration business and stays in the heart of the city. The City Rooms can provide the setting service and high standards expected of a venue that has stood the test of time Couples particularly like the location — they rated it 9.2 for a two-person trip. The City Rooms has been welcoming Booking.com guests since 4 Aug 2008 and has been recently refurbished. This venue operates a self-check in and check out procedure. This will be communicated to you after booking; and your stay with us will be supported remotely via the Booking.com messenger between 08.00 and 21.00. Our office staff and events teams may be present at the hotel during the day with our on-site security to ensure your nighttime safety. After checking out non-returned keys are chargeable at £100. Availability at the venue will be controlled to ensure that your stay is not affected by events at the hotel.

Overall good

Liked: Big rooms, great location
Disliked: No staff to help. Self-check in details were not sent until the day of check in, which left me stressed we would not gain access

Great hotel, Great location.

Liked: Great location. Check in was simple. Secure parking. Lovely room and huge bathroom! Great shower.

Excellent hidden gem

Liked: Central location, private car park which was highly appreciated in this busy city. Communication was brilliant. The room was very comfortable.
Disliked: Couldn't fault the place.

terrific and the electric fan...

Liked: extra large bed, fridge, coffee maker and kettle, huge bath, comfy bed, location, on-site parking (need pre-booking with hotel). lovely stay!
